Our Client, A Prestigious Private Equity Real Estate Investment Trust is seeking a dynamic fund accounting professional to perform daily reporting functions for multiple private equity real estate funds.

This role reports directly to the Senior Vice President

Responsibilities include:

● Preparation of capital calls and distributions
● Financial statements prepared on a GAAP basis for investment companies (with footnotes), profit & loss allocations, financial highlights and ratios
● Prepare journal entries
● Assist in all aspects of quarterly and annual financial reports
● Coordinate and communicate with banks, legal counsel and limited partners
● Process wire transfers
● Perform bank reconciliations
● Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with Fund auditors
● Analyze general ledger accounts
● Actively monitor & adhere to multiple reporting requirements across multiple fund vehicles
● Perform ad-hoc reporting to limited partners/internal departments
● Analyze limited partnership agreements

Experience requirements:

● 3+ years of related fund accounting experience is preferred, or Public Accounting auditing Private Equity/ REITS (Big 4 or midsize)
● Relevant fund accounting experience, with a focus on GAAP for investment companies
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects
● Advanced Excel skills including building models to support accounting records and conclusions
● Strong analytical skills, with a focus on detail and the ability to deliver an organized work-products


● CPA preferred
